Who Can Be Baptized?
At GHOW, we welcome anyone who has made a personal decision to follow Jesus to take this next step. Whether you’re new to faith or have been a believer for years but haven’t yet been baptized, it’s never too late to take this step.
What is Water Baptism?
Water baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation. When you choose to be baptized, you are following the example of Jesus and obeying His command. Baptism symbolizes dying to your old self and being raised to new life in Christ, just as Jesus was raised from the dead. It’s an act of obedience that demonstrates your faith and commitment to live for Him.
Why Should I Be Baptized?
The Bible teaches that baptism is an important step for every believer:

Jesus Was Baptized: Jesus Himself was baptized by John the Baptist as a model for us (Matthew 3:13-17).

What to Expect on Baptism Day

The Celebration: Baptisms take place on the 5th Sundays of the year after our Sunday service. We love to celebrate those getting baptized. Feel free to invite your friends and family.

Food. We will provide a light lunch and snack such as chips and cookies. We love food.

What to Wear: We recommend wearing dark, modest clothing and bringing a change of clothes and a towel.
